Caramel Rum Liqueur
Small batch English rum, blended with old fashioned caramelised sugars.
Using copper pot stills,Ā this liqueur is made from scratch with pure, treacly molasses. Gorgeous notes of sticky toffee pudding, with a hint of Christmas cake and a silky smooth mouthfeel.
Sip neat, in or alongside your favourite dessert; or add a dash to your espresso or flat white for a taste sensation!
The molasses base gives deep notes of raisin and cracked caramel, with an extra flavour dimension from the oak, enveloped in layers of rich caramel.
AllĀ the rums in the English Spirit collection onlyĀ use pure sugar cane molasses as a base forĀ the spirit; no sugar cane juice or syrup here; to giveĀ the rumĀ a signature richness and complexity. The molasses is fermented for at least two weeks and then distilled twice, in small batches, in copper alembic stills. The rum is co-distilled with oak, and blended with natural caramels and sugars, beforeĀ being bottled.
The label design was inspired by the caramel āpurple onesā found in Quality Street chocolates.
