A true, even rare, distilled gin, made from sugar beet as the base. A focused selection of botanicals including juniper, coriander, macadamia nut and citrus zests come together to produce a smooth classic gin.
Great with tonic with a twist of orange peel and a couple of capers, but equally good neat on ice.
Safine Drenc Northamptonshire Gin, Wharf Distillery
SAFINE DRENC is Anglo-Saxon for Juniper drink. Carefully selected botanicals are lovingly distilled in a copper alembic pot still called Velocity. Rich in Juniper aromatics with hints of lemongrass, heather and elderflower.
Serve with an elderflower tonic and, if you're feeling fancy, with a half a stick of lemongrass split longways.
